Listing: Pinson Valley Remarketing Inc
Location: Birmingham, AL
Name: Kesha
Summary: Thank you.
Comments:
This is the only place I've bought a car from in the last 10 years & that has an owner that is one of a kind & really cared when I had a problem after I bought my car. Jimmie is her name & she is sharp. My brake lights went out 5 months after I bought the car & they fixed them for free on the kia I got from them. Then I locked my keys out of my car & they sent someone out to unlock it whe any other car lot would have told me to go stick it somewhere. See I was low on money & couldn't afford a lock smith I explained this to her, she said she understood & helped me out. Thank you so much because like I was saying I just didn't have the money & no other car lot in the world would have done this for me. I am a black women raising five kids & money with the economy so bad it's just hard to even survive.

Listing: Peykan Auto Sales
Location: Ormond Beach, FL
Name: John C.
Summary: Fraudulent Tag/Title fees- Beware
Comments:
I purchased a vehicle from this auto group and was charged 80 dollars for tag and title fees. After waiting the req. 30 days I had to register the vehicle myself and contact the owner. Bruce Osivand, about the title transfer. I also requested a refund of the registration fees. He told me I was not entitled to a refund because he "sent them in the mail." A subsequent search of the DMV records indicated he lied. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS. Litigation concerning my refund is pending. - John, Atlantic Beach, Fl

Listing: Autowright Rent A Car
Location: West Boylston, MA
Name: MC
Summary: Shady, dishonest dealership - stay away!
Comments:
I bought a used Honda Hybrid Civic for almost $10k. They showed me a clean Car fax, I was very pleased with the sale. I went to resell the car later this year, almost closed the sale only to find out that the Civic has been in an accident. I couldn't pay someone to buy this car from me.

This dealer showed me a CLEAN Carfax report!! Stay away!! Do not do business with!!

Listing: Merrow Wholesale Auto
Location: Manchester, NH
Name: Jodie D.
Summary: A really bad dealer!!
Comments:
Worst place ever to get a car, more problems with the vehicle then you can imagine. Brake system failed after 6 weeks and transmission went after 9 weeks of having vehicle. The lady in the office is as rude as they get, check out other dealers and only use them if they are a last resort and you only want a vehicle that is going to make it a month with no problems!

Listing: Ted Britt Ford
Location: Chantilly, VA
Name: Ryan
Summary: Go Elsewhere
Comments:
I strongly suggest taking your vehicle elsewhere. This was my first and last time using this dealership to service my truck. I brought in my '08 F150 for an 8:30am appointment on a Saturday to see why the check engine light had come on. I also asked them to rotate and balance the tires while they were at it. After 6 hours of what must have been strenuous labor, they called me at 2:30pm to say that my truck would be ready in 15 minutes. They neglected to say that they would be closing another 15 minutes after that. Subsequently, my truck would be held hostage until business hours on Monday. But it's ok, my work can wait. As for the work on the truck, they were able to rotate my tires correctly...a task that my 7 year old nephew could easily perform. HIGH FIVE Ted Britt Ford! However, they informed me that they were unable to balance my tires. ...Unable to balance tires? Or didn't want to because it was closing time and there was a big college football game to catch??? I can't be sure. No big deal, the main reason I brought in the truck was that it was quite alarming for me to have a check engine light come on in such a new vehicle. To alleviate my concern, they simply reset the light (not bothering to diagnose or repair the problem causing the illumination). They comforted me with the fact that the unthinkable expertise that went into performing this miracle on my truck would be covered under warranty. PHEW! When they handed me the bill (knowing that the depression of the reset button was going to be billed to Ford) I expected to see something in the $20-30 range for a tire balance and rotation...minus, of course, the tire balance that was asking entirely too much. My bill was $99. You may be asking yourself, "why so much for a tire rotation?" Well, they took it upon themselves to change the oil and replace the oil filter even though I hadn't asked them to do so (about a $65 procedure according to their gorilla math). When I explained to them that I hadn't asked for an oil change, they said to me, (in their best 3rd grader nanny nanny boo boo voice) "oh yes you did." In between spouts of, "I know you are, but what am I," when I tried to explain that my truck didn't need an oil change they asked me, "well then why did you ask for one?" Backed into a corner with this intense line of interrogation, I scoured my brain for a resource capable of aiding me in my escape. I was overcome with a swarm of tactics I could employ, but one far outweighed the others. "I'll use LOGIC," I said to myself. I quickly ran out to my truck to grab a receipt from Jiffy Lube for an oil change performed on my truck just a month and 1700 miles prior. "You see, I've still got a good 3300 miles until my next oil change," I triumphantly exclaimed to the (now) army of supervisors that had come out to help the supervisor before them that wasn't able to coerce me into submission. Clearly their need to pull a profit far outweighed my need to make sense. Honesty, integrity, accountabliity? Unnecessary when there's $65 at stake. I hope my $65 takes your service station STRAIGHT to the top, Ted Britt Ford!

Listing: JKB Auto Sales
Location: Pleasant Hill, MO
Name: Saad Mirza
Summary: Stay Away, Don't Get Ripped off
Comments:
Stay Away from JKB(Joseph Knapp Bull.Sh.ter) Auto Sales

I was looking for a Volkswagen Jetta when I came across one of their listings on Craigslist for a 2000 VW Jetta for $5995.
I went in the next day, and took the VW for a drive it was in poor driving condition(Check Engine Light on, Axle clunked when turning, vibrated at highway speeds.
We mutually agreed on the problems and I asked them to fix all of the above by Friday 14th day of November, 2008 with a $300 deposit, and I'll pay $5500 cash. The deal was made in Good Faith.
The Used Car Salesman(John) told me that the clunking sound was a Bushings problem in the Suspension and it'll be fixed easily. And if it's not fixed by Friday on the above date I'll get my money back. Well I waited for Friday, finally after 6 hours of wait(where they told me to come back with the cash in my pocket). I drove the car and it still had all the issues above the way they were when I first drove it.

They breached the contract, I asked for my money back and their Used Car Salesman, John, called the owner Joe Knapp I believe, and said Joe doesn't want to give my initial deposit back. I called him the next day, and he said he is an honest businessman and the contract wasn't broken from his side and I backed off. I told him that I would see him in Small Claims Court, and he says "Bring it on", like it's a fight and he's a Rdneck.
I would take them to court, and I have the paperwork and recordings to prove my case.
If anyone else has had a similar problem with these people I would like to file a lawsuit, and I'll pay for it too. I would not throw $10 in a trash, 300 is a much bigger number

Listing: Thrifty Car Sales
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Name: plyar
Summary: shady
Comments:
Not good,

Bought a car from them and they led us to believe they had all the accessories at their other location, including electronic keys. They said they'd give them to us and after the sale they said nope. It wasn't on your due list. Nothing we can do about it now and it costs us over $500 to get keyless entry without a master keyless to begin with. Got duped, it was my first time buying and I learned my lesson. But shady people like this that lead you on and then don't deliver and know what they are doing, shouldn't be dealt with in business. So beware.
